The Sankt Lars Health Center is a medium-sized health center within the healthcare choice system, located in bright and pleasant premises in the beautiful Sankt Lars Park in Lund. About 35 employees work here in a stable staff group with low turnover and a good working climate characterized by cooperation and shared responsibility. We offer clinics in areas such as elderly care, asthma and COPD, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, incontinence, child health care, and care for patients in special accommodations. The health center also has a well-functioning rehabilitation team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and psychologists. Our patient base is diverse, contributing to a varied and developing work environment where no day is the same.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you, as a district doctor, meet patients of all ages and life situations. The work includes both planned visits and urgent matters, and you will have the opportunity to follow your patients over time and contribute to safe and cohesive care.

You will work closely with other professionals at the health center and play an important role in daily collaboration, providing medical support and advice to colleagues. The role also includes collaboration with the municipality and other healthcare providers, working with coordinated individual plans, home visits, and responsibility for patients in home care and nursing homes.

The position also allows for child health care and supervision of both students and resident doctors, contributing to a stimulating exchange of knowledge in daily practice. As one of our district doctors is retiring, there is an opportunity for you, if interested, to take on expanded responsibilities such as medical management responsibility (MLA).

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed physician and specialist in general medicine with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. If you also hold another specialty, it is considered an advantage for the position. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are required.
